SUNTRACK CO. ("SUNTRACK", "we", "us") provides fleet management technology. This policy explains what personal information we process, why, and the rights you have over it. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and applicable data protection laws in the regions we operate.
We process this information to deliver the SUNTRACK service to our customers: live tracking, safety and compliance features, incident response, reporting and support. We do not sell personal information.
For fleet data, our customer (the association, operator or organisation that contracts with us) is the responsible party; SUNTRACK acts as an operator processing that data on their instruction. A data processing agreement is available for every deployment.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform (such as hosting and communications providers), under contract and only to the extent necessary, or where the law requires it.
Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-based, tenants are strictly isolated from one another, and actions on the platform are logged in audit trails.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. Platform users employed by our customers should direct requests to their organisation in the first instance; we support our customers in fulfilling them.
